What is Included

Weight: 46 pounds (21 kg)
Dimensions: 50″ long x 28″ wide x 2″ high (127 cm x 71 cm x 5 cm)
Description: The universal frame is made from rugged, 11 gauge, 2″ x 2″ (5 cm x 5 cm) square tubular steel with angle steel cross pieces. Stainless steel sleeves are welded into the frame to receive the axle. Multiple, accurately spaced holes allow the quick attachment of various interchangeable accessories. Open, reinforced, tubular frame ends at the front and rear allow the easy interchange of handles, hitches, leverage tools, and carrying racks as well as other attachments. The extra room is intentional to decrease rusting together of components as well as easy interchange. The frame is alkaline washed and zinc undercoated before being powder coated in a hammer tone silver.
Weight: 11 pounds (5 kg)
Dimensions: 1-2/3″ diameter x 20″ high x 19-1/2″ long (4.2 cm x 50.8 cm x 49.5 cm)
Description: Rugged structural steel pipe bent into a modified ‘S’ shape. Inserts into the sockets at the rear of the universal frame.   Powder coated red. Detent pin included
Applications: Used in pairs, these strong handles allow a person to push or pull a wheeled hand tool system at a comfortable and efficient working height.  When in use, the universal frame stays low and parallel to the ground for optimum load carrying and balance, yet maintains ample clearance.  When parked, the handles can be easily pivoted down for rolling or sliding heavy loads onto the frame.
Weight: 7 pounds (3.2 kg)
Dimensions: .66″ diameter x 28″ long (4.2 cm x 71 cm)
Description: Steel pipe with brackets on each end that connects across between the handles and pins in place.
Applications: Use the handle cross bar to help push heavy loads by leaning your body into the bar while also pushing on the handles with your hands.  Also use it to pull or restrain heavy loads, since it is easier to get a firmer grip on the cross bar.  Easily removes to slide timber into position
Weight: 4 pounds (1.8 kg)
Dimensions: 3/4″ diameter x 24-3/4″ long (1.9 cm x 62.9 cm)
Description: Solid stainless steel with holes for quick release lynch pins at each end. Two lynch pins included.  Stainless steel is more expensive, but it doesn’t rust and corrode like regular carbon steel.
Applications: Use as an axle for double wheels mounted outside the frame when the stability of double wheels is needed.  Mount a third wheel inside the frame when more flotation is needed for soft ground or packed snow.
Weight: 0.05 lb. (23 grams)
Dimensions: 1/4″ diameter x 1-9/16″ long pin (6.35 mm x 39.7 mm)
Description: THE NECESSARY LYNCH PINS COME WITH YOUR ORDER, SO ONLY ORDER MORE IF YOU NEED EXTRA. Self-locking, snap-ring pin. Two per axle.
Applications: Insert a lynch pin in the hole at each end of the axle to retain the axle and wheel(s).  Pushing the snap-ring down locks it over the end of the axle so the lynch pin does not fall out.  Lifting the snap-ring unlocks it so the pin may be removed.
Weight:12 pounds (5.4 kg)
Dimensions:15″ diameter x 4″ wide tire with 6″ long axle hub (40.6 cm x 10.2 cm x 15.2 cm) with larger 3/4″ sealed bearings

This is the best tire & wheel assembly we could find for this application. Made by Carefree Tire, this foam filled,  puncture proof tire will never go flat. The following is from the Carefree Tire web site: Unlike solid rubber or solid urethane tires, a Carefree Tire provides an “air cushioned” ride without adding any significant weight. As a resultnot only will a Carefree Tire last four to ten times longer than a similar pneumatic tire, but require up to 40% less effort to roll. Bearings are pre-greased and double sealed.  Rhino Tool Systems uses stainless steel axles to prevent rust, so no grease is needed. Grease attracts abrasive grit and makes it messy to slide a wheel on and off an axle.   Knobby tread. Color is black. Size is 4.80/4.00-8. Ball bearings.

The manufacturer’s rated load capacity per tire & wheel assembly is 670 pounds, but we are only rating individual wheel capacity at 400 pounds until we have extensive customer feedback of satisfactory, long term performance with individual wheel loadings well in excess of 400 pounds.

Installed as a single wheel inside the frame on a short axle or as double wheels outside the frame on a long axle. For very heavy loads or better floatation on soft ground and packed snow, three wheels may be installed on a long axle.

Weight:14 pounds (6.4 kg)
Dimensions:21″ long x 21″ wide x 9″ high (53 cm x 53 cm x 23 cm)

Rugged, curved, section of corrugated, double walled, plastic highway culvert. Heavy, reinforced rubber tabs hold the shield in place on the universal frame with a friction fit, yet allow quick removal without tools.

These lighter weight, but more rugged culverts are now preferred by highway departments over the heavy, galvanized steel culverts that were previously used.  They absorb impacts, maintain their color even if scratched, and do not rust.

These wheel shields are made from new highway culverts, but because they are rugged and made to take abuse, they are just dumped off the delivery trucks.  Thus they may be slightly scuffed and in some cases dirty.  However, with hard use on a Rhino they will stay looking much better than powder coated steel.

Shield for covering double or triple wheel configurations.  Use to keep loads piled on the bed of the Rhino from resting on the wheels.

Weight:7 Pounds (3.2 Kg)
Dimensions:1-2/3″ diameter stepped down to 1″ diameter x 16″ long (4.2 cm x 2.5 cm)

Structural steel pipe stepped down to from 1.66″ (4.2 cm) diameter to 1.32″ (3.35 cm) diameter pipe then to 1″ (2.54 cm) solid round to provide ample strength for severe duty levering of rock, debris and more.  Hole near large end accepts a quick attach pin (detent pin).  Smaller end is bent slightly upward and ground flat to allow good penetration under objects and good support/balance to objects that are lifted.  Powder coated red. Detent pins included.

Insert into the two front sockets of the universal frame and secure with quick attach pins. The paired pry bars make it much easier to lever up an object without it flopping to one side or the other as is common with other levers.  May be used with single, double, or triple wheel configurations of the RTS.

Weight:20 pounds (9 kg)
Dimensions:23.1″ x 18″ x 3.5″ (58.7 cm x 45.7 cm x 8.9 cm)

The rugged clamp arm is formed from paired, 3/4″ square steel recurved bars spaced 2″ apart with a large curve on one end and a smaller curve on the other.  A double slide/lock ring nearer the end of the clamp arm with the smaller curve allows it to be easily moved up and down on a vertical pipe.  The clamp arm can be positioned anywhere on the vertical pipe, facing any direction and either side up.  The vertical pipe pins to the front of the universal frame with two bolts with wing nuts that come inserted into the vertical pipe bracket.  Use the bolts and wing nuts, not detent pins.   The combination of the clamp arm and the vertical pipe constitutes the clamp assembly.

The clamp assembly is used to clamp and hold large, awkward objects that are being carried on the pry bars.  While the clamp arm can be easily moved up and down, it will self lock in any position on the vertical pipe and thus clamp a load. Releasing the lock is accomplished simply by pulling up on one end of the clamp.  Due to its self locking nature, it sometimes requires knocking the clamp loose with a mallet or hammer. The clamp arm may be rotated or flipped to provide 3 choices of grip:  long hook, short hook, and long flat.  If an object is too large to be accommodated by the height of the vertical pipe, one or two front extension pipes are added to extend the length.  Extensions are not included and may be purchased separately.

Weight:0.1 lb. (45 grams)
Dimensions:3/8″ diameter x 3″ long bolt & wing nut (9.5 mm x 76 mm)

Hex headed bolt with 3/8″-16 thread.  Zinc plated.

Zinc plated, steel, wing nut with 3/8″-16 thread.

Bolts and wing nuts are supplied with the appropriate components and only need to be ordered as spares or replacements.  These bolts are also readily available at hardware stores.  10 mm diameter x 75 mm long bolts with matching wing nuts can be used.

These bolts may be used to attach the clamp arm in place to prevent bending the arm while prying heavy objects.  Also used with the trailer hitch to the universal frame, since detent pins might jiggle out at faster towing speeds.

Customer Reviews

We put it to good use over the Labor Day Weekend, My family really enjoyed using it on our beach, they helped clear almost all of our large boulders off the beach. That alone was worth the price of admission!

We’ve moved over half of these stones to our creek to help stop the erosion and could not of done it without your wheeled hand tool for the large rock with rolling lever. The photo attached is of me. I admit I moved a small amount of the large stones while my husband move almost all of them. I have to mention that your wheeled tool system encouraged us and made the job a bit fun. We feel rallied to finished the job and are enjoying the benefit of terrific exercise because of it!

I did quite a bit of work today with the 2 wheel configuration and am really impressed with the versatility and effectiveness for rock removal. The claw attachment can be a real asset with the larger rocks I found. The ability to tilt the unit vertically to sink the prongs beside a rock is really a good feature. I did not need a prybar all day. Pulling rocks was almost fun today!

Your device worked successfully. We used it to transport stone slabs weighing 385 lbs. apiece uphill. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Charles Holder

Bought this and it is everything they say it is, really awesome, effortlessly managed very large boulders. Very well made, actually havent seen this kind of quality in a piece of equipment in a very long time. What I really like is the versatility and modular aspect, adding components with such ease that expands the use of the tool.

Received the hand cart yesterday and was out in the snow digging up some rocks to test the rig. It’s exactly what I need! Thanks for making a well built quality tool that will keep on working long after I’m gone.

We pulled an inch-and-a-half buckthorn tree and a full size multi-stemmed honeysuckle with a trunk that was over three inches in diameter at the base.
