The Rhino Tool System can accommodate three flat proof tires on its stainless steel axle. A third tire increases load capacity to 1200 pounds! This is the best tire we could find; a foam filled, puncture proof tire will never go flat.
The following is from the manufacturer’s web site: Unlike solid rubber or solid urethane tires, our flat proof tire provides an “air cushioned” ride without adding any significant weight. As a result, it will last four to ten times longer than a similar pneumatic tire, but require up to 40% less effort to roll.
Rhino Tool Systems uses stainless steel axles to prevent rust. We do not recommend grease because it attracts abrasive grit and is messy during assembly.
Please note: The manufacturer’s rated load capacity per tire is 670 pounds. However, we recommend capacity of 400 pounds per tire until we have enough feedback of performance beyond 400 pounds.
